Katie is in her 9^th year as Morton High Schools Athletic Trainer. Katie is originally from Kewanee and attended Kewanee high school where she played volleyball and basketball. She graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor’s of science degree in Kinesiology in 2012. During her years at ISU Katie worked with the Illinois state football team and ISU women’s soccer team, as well as with Illinois Wesleyan Men’s basketball, women’s volleyball and football programs. She completed a 400 hour internship with Barrington Orthopedic Specialists and Hoffman Estates High school. She worked for 2 years at Kewanee Physical Therapy and Rehab Specialists and Galva high school before coming to Morton. Katie has been a part of all 4 State Championship teams and loves talking with the girls after practice in the training room. When she finds free time Katie enjoys fishing, hunting and country concerts with her friends.
